With everyone's consent, Tarik heaved herself onto Bartre's back, and patted his rump. "Then you'll have to ride Bartre, Aban." She smiled. Having four people was a tight squeeze, but she knew Bartre could do it.

Alan climbed back onto the beastie, careful not to spill a sip of his coffee. He patted Bartre's back lightly: He was beginning to like the creature.

"Oh. Oops." Mark wiped off the mustache with his sleeve, then proceeded to gulp down the rest of the milk. With that finished, he climbed back up on Bartre, behind Alan, while Fido rode on top of his head again, leaving enough space for Aban. He looked down at him and smiled.

Aban stared up at them and made a small grimace. He sighed and nimbly climbed up onto Bartre's back behind Mark.

Once everyone was on, Bartre began to bound towards Edurne. Tarik knew they had to run through the town for the shortest route, but the people wouldn't mind. If they did, they could answer to Bartre.

Alan gripped onto the fur a little tighter with the one hand he had, sipping the coffee from his other hand. "So, how long will it take to get there?"

Mark smiled as he looked around. He didn't really like being in the city-like place, but he could appreciate the buildings and people. Plus they would be leaving it soon. He listened to the adults talk.

Aban held onto Bartre's fur with one hand and brought one side of his headphones up to his ear. He let go of his fur and held on with his legs for a moment as he cut on his ipod, then held back onto Bartre's fur. He held his headphone against his ear and watched as everything went past.

"Not far. We are close to the center of the island, so everything," she paused, and tugged on Bartre's ears, causing him to stop. Mere feet from them, a line of snow separated Calida and Edurne, and some of the cold air blew over into the warm atmosphere. "is much closer together."

Alan pulled his hood back around his head, and his jacket closer. Instinctively, his shoulders squared against the cold, and he gripped his coffee tighter. "Alright. The snow again."

Mark wrapped his jacket around himself tighter, Fido snuggling in between his legs. Of course, he already knew his sparse clothing wasn't going to keep him warm in this tundra climate. You couldn't blame him though! As far as he knew, he had been going to a nice warm countryside on a nice warm boat! He wasn't prepared for the cold at all.

Aban shivered a little as the cold wind hit him. He sighed softly, cut his ipod off and then took off his headphones. He folded them up quickly so they would fit into his pocket with his ipod. He made sure they were closer to his body so they wouldn't get damaged from the sudden cold. He closed his eyes a little, welcoming the cold almost but not quite. He gave another small shiver then shook it off.

Bartre began to walk on the Calida side of the line until they were farther away from the town, and far enough so that Tarik could not be easily spotted. Then, he turned into Edurne, and began to trot through the thick snow, making his way towards the castle.
Looking back at everyone, she said, "Everyone, when the castle appears, please stay low to Bartre so the guards don't see us."

Alan blinked. "We aren't supposed to be there, are we?" He was wary. What if... One of them got hurt? Shouldn't he say something? After all. he assumed he was the oldest.

Mark gulped. "Wait, what? If we're not supposed to be there, then why are we going there?" His voice rose in pitch from his nervousness.
