Alan shrugged. "Possibly. Except, why would only I be able to see them?" He glanced at her with a sigh.

Mark bit into his carrot again, which created a loud crunch in the brief silence. He looked around apologetically, but continued eating. He wasn't really interested in spirits or demons or visions or whatever. Especially if they caused fear in the adults.

"Spirits only show themselves to whom they wish to see them. I do not understand their thinking, nor does anyone else." She made her way to the door, to lean over the balcony. Whistling down at the ground, Bartre moved out from under his little house, looking up at her. She smiled down at him. "Come, I will show you the town!" With that, she fell over the balcony.

Alan gasped as the woman fell over the balcony. He ran to the edge and looked over, freaking out. "Don't DO that. It's dangerous!"

Mark ran to the balcony when Tarik fell off it and looked over the side, Fido peering over it next to him.

With a thud, Tarik landed on Bartre's back, quickly grabbing onto his ears so she wouldn't slip off. The animal shook a bit, before panting happily. Tarik looked up at the boys, waving them down. "Come!! Let's go!!"

Alan climbed down the ladder, shaking his head. "You..." He just sighed, and got up on Bartre. "That's dangerous."

Mark laughed, grinning down at the adults. "Oh cool! I'm totally trying that!" He sat on the edge, took Fido in his arms, then slid off. There was a rush of air, and then he landed on Bartre's back, grabbing onto his fur lightly to stop him from falling off. "That was awesome!" he said, smiling at Tarik and Alan. Fido barked an agreement.

"Ahh!!" Tarik grabbed the boy's collar, to hold him onto Bartre once he landed, despite him grabbing the beast's fur. She sighed. "No, I am experienced. I know how to do this." Once both were securely on, she kicked at Bartre's sides, sending him off in the direction of the town.

Alan grabbed onto the beast's fur, sighing as it burst off. If he wasn't careful, he's end up on the ground. "YOU may know how to, but please don't teach such habits to the fifteen-year-old. Strangely enough, I almost feel responsible for him..."

Mark gave Alan a look. "Hey! I can take care of myself, thank you!" He'd basically been on his own for a year now, and he didn't take kindly to Alan trying to act like a parent or something.

Rolling her eyes, Tarik leaned forward on Bartre, squinting her eyes. She could hear the cars of the town close by, but the trees in Aiden were far too thick for her to actually see them. Bartre ran hard, but gradually began to slow the closer they got. Soon, Tarik slipped off of him, and tenderly held on to his fur as she guided him through the remaining trees. Once outside of the forest, a bustling town was revealed. Buildings lined up beside each other, each something different. Cars sped through the streets beside pedestrians. Really, it all looked like modern towns in America. Tarik just didn't fit in here.

Aban had his hands in his pockets and his headphones around his neck for once. He had climbed his way out of the wreckage of the ship. He came out of it relatively unscathed minus a cut going across his forehead and a few more along his arms. He didn't care though, they could join the other scars along his arms anyway.
He walked among the people in the town. He had traveled from the wreckage to here and was glad he was used to running so much. The climates were strange on how they switched from one to the next, but he didn't care.

Mark started to feel uncomfortable as they got to the bustling town. It reminded him too much of where he had just left. Too many cars and pollution for his taste; and not enough land and trees. Looking around, he spotted something that didn't quite fit in.... another boy that looked nothing like the natives. And he thought maybe he had seen him on the boat before too. "Tarik! Look!" He pointed at the boy. "I think he was on the boat with us!"

Alan smiled at the bustling town. Finally a place where he could fit in. This was a lot more like his native New York. He followed Mark's finger to the man. "Oh, yes, I believe he was. Tarik, we should get his attention."
