Each time she threw the spear, a string around her wrist pulled it back. The lionesses eventually ceased, but only because their climate had ended. Tarik's back was blasted by branches and rain, and she knew they were in Aidenn. She pulled her spear back into its original size and shape, before tucking it away. Glancing down at the boys, she grinned. "Tarik, I thought I told you, Alan." Bartre knew where he was headed now, and continued to run, making his way towards Tarik's home.

Adachi crawled out of the crash, his eyes blinking in the sunlight. Shadow stirred briefly, if only to make sure that they were both still alive. But luckily, he left Adachi in control.
"An island?" Adachi asked no one in particular. "Well that's funny. That storm must have REALLY blown us off course~!"

Haruhi groaned as she came to, having knocked her head against a wall as the boat crashed. And just how exactly had the boat crashed, she wondered. Shaking her head, and groaning again because that really hadn't been the best plan, she started crawling through the wreckage. She glanced down at herself and sighed. Her school uniform was pretty much ruined. The jacket part was ripped on the shoulders and sides, and the pants and shirt and tie were absolutely filthy. But, she supposed that really didn't matter right then. Continuing through the wreckage, she soon found her way blocked by some wood boards. And even if she had been an actual boy instead of just looking like one, there was no way a fifteen year old could move them. "Um, help! Is anybody out there?" she called out, hoping someone else from the boat could hear her and help her.

Adachi blinked at the tiny voice. Young boy? Young girl? Eh, didn't matter. They needed help! He found his way over to the boards. Man, they looked heavy. "Um, hello? Is someone in there? He asked. It really was a dumb question. Of course someone was in there. There WERE other people on the boat. "Or, I mean, are you hurt?"

"Yes, someone's in here!" Haruhi responded to the man. Really, what sort of question was that? She continued though, trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice. "I'm not terribly hurt, I don't think. Besides my pounding head. But these boards in the way are kind of a problem. Think you can move them?"

Adachi looked at the boards. Normally, he wasn't the heavy lifter. That was usually left up to his partner. But, even though he seemed wiry and weak, his slim frame concealed someone much stronger. He began lifting the boards out of the way, until there was a space wide enough for the person to get through. "Is that good?" He asked.

"Perfect," Haruhi replied. She really wasn't that big, after all. Skinny and short, that was her. Or him, if you were anyone else looking at her, because she was currently dressed in a boy's school uniform. Crawling through the space, she stood up and blinked in the sunlight. "Thanks," she said to the man who had helped her. Then she inspected herself again in the light. "This uniform cost me a fortune!" she muttered to herself. "I'll never be able to buy a replacement!" Shaking her head, and then clutching it again with one hand in pain, she looked around. "So, uh, know where we are?" she asked aloud.

Adachi shook his head. "No, I don't. Though I think it's somewhere where you won't be able to buy a new uniform!" He was teasing, or joking. By his tone, he was being perfectly serious. "I'm Adachi Tohru. And you are?"

"Haruhi Fujioka," she replied, rubbing the back of her head. She was trying to find out if she had a bump anywhere back there. She winced. Not a bump, but it felt like a slight bruise at least. "It's nice to meet you, even under the current circumstances." She smiled at him, one of her more charming smiles that usually got people to instantly like her, even when she wasn't trying to do so.

Adachi grinned in return, reflecting the same smile back. It was one of HIS specialties too. When you were certifiably schizophrenic and were housing a dangerous, possible murderer in your head... You HAD to be charming. "Yeah, nice to meet you too!" He put his hands in his pockets and turned around to the island. "Well I guess we could start walking. I mean, there's gotta be people somewhere, right?"

Haruhi looked around the beach. "I guess so." It would really suck if she was on some deserted island alone with this guy. "I mean, other passengers had to have survived as well if we did."

Adachi nodded. "That's what I thought." Honestly, he wasn't sure if they were going to meet up with anyone anytime soon. He might be stuck with this boy for a while. He climbed off of the wreckage and onto the sand. "So... Which way?"

Haruhi thought for a minute before pointing straight ahead. "Inland. If any other people survived, they would've headed into the jungle for food and shelter. And if anyone actually lives on this island, they would also be inland." It really was no wonder she was one of the brightest students at her school.

Adachi quickly agreed. "Alright. So, inland it is!" He began walking in that direction. Then, he paused. He wasn't really used to LEADING anyone any where. "Do you wanna go first?"

Haruhi sighed heavily, rubbing the back of her head again. "Sure, I guess." Really, this Adachi guy reminded her a lot of her dad when he wasn't crossdressing. He couldn't do much on his own either, and depended on her a lot. She began leading them into the jungle area, just walking straight forward, figuring they'd get somewhere eventually. "So, Adachi, we might as well get to know each other if we're gonna be stuck with each other for a while here, right?"
