Name: Aban Leican
Series: ..uumm.....he is orginal!
Gender: male
Age and year/Age and job: 16; junior
Appearance: Aban has black hair that reaches slightly past his shoulders in the back and to the bottom of his eyes in the front. He has deep grey-green eyes that seem to just draw you in. He is of medium height and slight build. He can usually be seen wearing his headphones, listening to the music off his ipod.
Personality: Aban isn't a very social kid, he would rather sit on the sidelines and listen to his ipod. Once you do get him to open up to you though, he is very kind, loyal, and caring. He likes to listen to classical, some pop, very little rock, light techno, and some different genres that he wouldn't want others to know. He doesn't like it when he or his friends are bullied and will easily stick up for them in a heartbeat.
Aban is okay in sports but doesn't favor them. The one thing he's good at sport wise would be gymnastics, but he wouldn't tell anyone that for fear of being picked on. He's quiet and a good student, doing what he's told to do and does all the work assigned to him. He is somewhat mature for his age and so can get along better with people older than him, but there are times where he does act childish and gets along great with kids his own age.

AU history: Aban came from a semi-well off family. He grew up having the things needed for a growing young boy plus a few extra things. Just because his family had some extra money to spend doesn't mean his home was exactly the best place to be. He grew up with an abusive father who would beat on his mother. Once she passed away, his father would beat on him when he went out drinking. Aban was lucky enough to be taken out of the hostile living space at the age of 14, but it was already a little late for anything good to happen.
He went from foster home to foster home for the next two years until he heard about the ship and wanted to get away from it all. So he climbed aboard and hoped to have a better life than the hellish one he was already living.
Other: Aban dreams of having his own family one day; one where he will love his wife and kids unlike how his own father had treated him and his mother.

Aban leaned against the railing of the ship, letting his hair fly in the wind. He cut the volume on his ipod down slightly so if anyone came up to him to try and talk, he would be able to hear them. He looked down at the screen and changed the song to Beethoven's Fifth and closed his eyes as the music filled his headphones and ears. He took in a deep breath of the salty ocean air with a small smile on his face. /I'm finally getting away from that hell hole./ he thought to himself as the ship sailed on.
