Bartre glanced up as he ran, and saw the bows and arrows of the archers. He knew those were dangerous, and so, in a panic, despite Mark's soothing tone, he stopped violently. He reared up, giving a mighty, but frantic roar. He hadn't realized how close he was to the castle doors.
Guards burst from within the castle, handling swords, arrows, and ropes. As quick as they could, they surrounded the beast, and began to lasso it. One rope went around the creature's neck, another, around his muzzle. They brought him down to his knees, while others began to grab the men off of his back, and them, hog tied him. Bartre struggled and cried out in terror, wanting so badly for Tarik to hear him. But that, unfortunately, was an impossibility. While some guards began to drag Bartre into the castle, the rest tied up the men's wrists, and pushed them towards the doors.

Alan sighed. Great plan Tarik. Let the two teenagers and the adult they didn't listen to travel to the castle by themselves. Great. "Listen." He told the nearest guard. "We're not FROM this world. Our boat crashed."

Mark's eyes were wide with fear. Ok, so he may have been a pretty adventurous and daring and risk-taking boy, but getting tied up by angry armed natives on an island he had crashed into only a few hours ago where he had no idea what most of them were saying when they talked or threatened him with their sharp weapons as they pushed him towards the very scary looking ice castle that undoubtedly housed an evil queen that would probably want to chop off their heads or eat their hearts or turn them into toads (or maybe he should stop reading books), was not what he'd call fun. He walked as they pushed him, trying to make himself seem smaller, as Fido cowered in his arms, hanging on despite his owner's bound hands.

Aban's muscles tensed as he was tied up and shoved towards the entrance to the castle. Of all the things that he was thinking of doing...getting captured was definitely not one of them. He had no idea on what was going on, and wasn't entirely sure he did. He was scared, yes but he had learned to hide it all away from the world at a young age. He looked at Alan and then at Mark and sighed softly. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he had a feeling things were most likely going to get worse before they got better. Isn't that how it usually is?

The guards called to each other, wondering what the strangers were saying. Since most of them had been raised to be soldiers, they were never educated in languages other than their own. They decided to take them to the queen, for she would know what to do with them.
After walking through many extravagant, winding hallways, the guards came upon two large doors, laced with gold and jewels. With a grunt, two guards pushed the doors open, revealing a room that was big enough to hold maybe a thousand people. However, it was very open. The entire room was adorned with different mosaics, gold, silver, jewels, and lace. A soft, narrow tapestry-like carpet led to marble stairs, which also led up to a large, plush throne. Upon that throne sat a woman, dressed in a lacey, fluffy, pure white dress. Her white curls spilled over her shoulders, and seemed to be entangled in her various diamond necklaces. A huge silver, ice-looking crown was sitting upon her head, showing that she was quite obviously the queen.

Alan bowed, as much as he could with the soldiers watching him like possessed demonic hawks. His nerves were on edge, and he could feel his anxiety creeping in. He shook his head lightly, focusing the shadows back to their places where they WERE just shadows.
"Hello, your majesty. We are... Not of this world. We are new here. Our boat crash-landed..."

Mark looked everywhere at once, trying to figure out a way to stop feeling so scared. He held Fido tightly, and stared up at the Queen-lady-person, letting Alan do all the talking.

Aban looked around and almost fought against the guards, but thought better of it and just let them push him. He clenched his jaw and wished he had his earphones on and his music playing. That would sure calm his nerves down, but he couldn't get to either. He looked up at the lady in front of them and didn't bother to follow Alan's example. He would let him do the talking and showing respect stuff. He was done with showing respect to adults when they didn't deserve it. And as far as he was concerned, the lady didn't deserve respect from him.

With a gasp, Betra rose, placing a thin hand over her mouth. "Crashed? Oh dear! Guards," the guards looked up at their queen in an almost frightened manner, "release them! You poor dears..." She made her way down the stairs, clicking all the way with her tall, translucent heeled shoes. As she approached them, she shook her head, tsking. "You all must be so tired. And hungry! Would you like something to eat?" She glanced at a man standing guard beside the throne. With a clap of her hands, the man stood erect, awaiting orders. "Bring in a cart of food. And don't forget dessert!" She smiled at the trio.

Alan was surprised at her hospitality. "Thank you, ma'am." He bowed again, looking at Mark. "See, she's not mean." He whispered.

Mark squeezed Fido and looked up at Alan with wide eyes. "Oh, right, of course, I knew that." He sighed and tried to relax. She's still ugly though, he thought to himself, trying to cheer himself up with a few inner jokes. At the mention of food he began smiling a bit, knowing he'd feel much better once he had eaten something.

Once his hands were free, Aban removed his earphones from his pocket and put them back around his neck. That relaxed him a bit, but he still wanted to put the music on but not doing so because now wasn't the best time to do so. He didn't really want much to eat, but gave a shadow of a smile when the food was mentioned. He stuck his hands back into his pockets and relaxed a little more.

Giggling, Betra began to make her royal way towards the dining hall. "Come come! You all must be so exhausted! Tell me, how did you find my humble castle?" She entered another large room, with a table stretching on into what seemed like forever. This room, like every other room in the castle, was decorated in fine fabrics, jewels, silver, and gold. Betra took a seat at the head of the table, in the largest chair.

Anji snuck his way into the dining hall. He'd been trailing behind the group for a while (had to find his spare fans,) and when they had been kidnapped, he'd stealthily made his way into the castle behind them. As his mother always told him as a child, safety in numbers! As he slid into the hall, his foot got caught on something (he wasn't sure) and he ended up faceplanting with a very large, very audible "OOOMPH!" This was just not his day.
